after watching Phil's video about SoundBlaster live cards, I went ahead and bought one.
Although the model on the picture was a SB0100, I was actually sent a SB0220 instead.

These http://vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=8 … menustate=42,35 driver's didn't work - Setup reported that no SoundBlaster card was found.
After some digging (http://www.hardwareheaven.com/community/threa … live-5-1.74184/) and with a little help from the Wayback Machine, I was able to use the Creative Compatiblity Patch and "fix" the existing SB0220 drivers from the Vogons archive.

The drivers now work with my model (SB0226).

If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to upload them somewhere.
I'd be very glad if they found their way to the Vogons archive, so that other members will find them easier to install
