Hi all, I have a Media Magic ISP-16 sound card but I dont have the driver for Dos 6.21, on the back it has FCC ID K2Y-SOUND16 and a chip with CS4248-KL EP its an ISA card and the Media Magic sticker is covering the main chip. I looked in Vogons driver library for Media Magic but its not there, thanks for a link if you have one.

MAD16 seems to be a branding for Opti 928 (and possibly for Opti 929, though the MAD16 Pro moniker seems to be used on at least some of those).
See http://www.bitsavers.org/pdf/opti/brochures/M … ochure_1993.pdf

I would try it. If it does not work, try the Opti 929 ones from http://files.mpoli.fi/hardware/SOUND/OTHER/

Thank you Darry how did you find this info and do you know what the jumper settings are for this card?

I used to own a similar card back in the day (got rid of it quickly because to midi port had issues, as I recall) .
The following thread was also helpful Media Magic K2Y-AUDIO16C More info? Worthwhile?
as was google .

I have not found anything for the jumpers yet.

Thanks everyone I got this card to install and work with the 928 driver but the performance was choppy when voice was played as parts of it went missing so I have put this card away for now, I tried differnet settings for IRQ and DMA but there is only a low DMA setting for this card and no high DMA

There are several cards as K2Y-SOUND16, it's difficult to say, for CS4248 and 82C928 and DOS, I would check these:
Turtle Beach Monte Carlo MC_928 (5 disk)
http://members.driverguide.com/driver_search. … rlo+Windows+3.x
(82C929 is MAD16 PRO and for new rev. Monte Carlo)
