Ahh nice! I mistakenly thought that was an ESS1868 based card instead of the Dream + Crystal combo.

In that case, adding an ESS card might be nice for ESFM and AudioDrive functionality.

The Maxi Sound 64 Dynamic 3D is an ESS-based card.

Sadly no, despite what's written in the datasheet.

I have one of those and DOS games which support WSS don't detect the card. Its drivers don't offer any way to configure WSS resources either.
