Saw a blerb about it in the specifications file but no other information was spotted by me. What does this mean? can I take some sound card drivers and run them in dos or something?

Usually it means no drivers at all. Just set the right port/irq/dma and bam.

Hrm, know where I can find these values?
BIOS.
Audio type: AC97, Sound Blaster emulation; optional internal speaker
I suspect that is Windows only software emulation.
I had few of these and they definetly do not have some sort of Hardware or Bios Sound Blaster DOS sound emulation.
I am aroused about any X86 motherboard that has full functional ISA slot. I think i have problem. Not really into that original (Turbo) XT,286,386 and CGA/EGA stuff. So just a DOS nut.
PS. If I upload RAR, it is a 16-bit DOS RAR Version 2.50.
Eh, hell no. The SX280 is an AC97 machine with an ADI Soundmax AD1981 codec running off the usual Intel ICH southbridge. For any given machine that’s newer than a Coppermine P3 (with few exceptions), just assume that there are no SB compatibility baked into the hardware.
