My SB AWE 32 - CT3780 is not detected.
Have tried with:
Diagnostic.exe
Test-SBP.exe
OPCLONE
Unisound

Averybody says that same thing - IO address not detected, or not not detected at IO address.
When using an SB16, AWE32 (CT3670) they are all detected. So i am ruling out the PC itself.
I have tried setting the jumpers to all possible IO addresses.
I have disabled the onboard CD-ROM interface.
I have measured the Voltage Regulators - they seams fine.

did you use CTCM to configure the card? its the most "trustworthy" official way.

That dent on the oscillator could be the reason. Chances are EMU8000 is misbehaving when it is receiving no clock and causing rest to misbehave too. The Oscillator is 45.158400MHz (44100 * 1024), it shouldn't be difficult to find a compatible replacement since it is a standard frequency.

CTCM just gives the the dos prompt - no messages.
CTCU does not detect any pnp or legacy cards.

Yes, you are right. CTCU will only auto-detect ISA PnP cards and mainboard resources, if there is a PNPBIOS compatible mainboard BIOS installed. You can manually add legacy cards, so CTCM gets to know which resources are unavailable for plug-and-play cards.

The CT3780 is no PnP card, so you don't need CTCM/CTCU. It should have a base address jumper to choose between 220 and 240. Sometimes, 240 conflicts with mainboard resources, but you want your soundblaster on 220 anyway. You might want to check the jumpered base address.

doh! I didnt realise ISO0+ISO1 were the io address. I thought it was pnp 🙁 my bad.
