Hey guys... settle some confusion for me, would you?

I picked up two of these cards.
They both 'claim' to be the same thing... but there are several differences.
The FCC ID is different, the model # is different.. jumper setup etc.

Yet according to the FCC ID they're the same model with slightly different IDs??

What am I looking at here... I can't even find a pic of the card online that has red tantalums like mine does.
Forgive the pics of the card in red bag, it's never been opened and I didn't want to open it for collectability purposes.

yes there is a lot of PAS16, kinda like they did with soundblaster. Some have SCSI, Some have CDROM, some have none.

They all have the same chips MVD101, MVA416, MVA508 chip.

Some have the "547-0002" chip others have the MVD201, they are the same and provide "thunderboard" support aka soundblaster 2.0 compatability.

the 650-0044 is a Rev D, the red bag 650-0022 is a Rev C

just different revisions, same card..

Also, some but apparently not all, PAS16 variants require -5V to work . This is something to keep in mind if one is using a newer rev ATX PSU without a -5V rail .

See ISA Cards & Devices Requiring -5V
