I have almost this card http://www.vgamuseum.info/index.php/news/item/348-s3-86c805

But it says p in front "p86c805" and no I at the end.

I have tried to install drivers for it (win 3.11) but non of the drivers seam to work. Windows restarts into dos saying could not start the driver.

I have tried a few drivers as you can see here.

What is the source of these drivers? Have you tried the files from metropoli BBS?

I'm not sure whether 805 and 805i chipsets share the same driver files ("i" = memory interleaving) but most likely yes.

Hi. Yes I tried these drivers.
And drivers from here: VGA VLB S3 Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) 86C801/805, basic info
and here http://www.retrocomputing.org/cgi-bin/sitewis … 200&id=retroorg

I just installed another vlb card that works, but I would prefer the other one.

If the card has a jumper to enable INTerrupt, then make sure that it is set.

I could not find such jumper to enable INTerrupt. I used another VLB to complete the video I was doing. But now I tried to install this VLB card again, because it's more period correct. It came with the machine. I think it is the Miro Crystal 8s. I get an error using the driver I found here: http://cd.textfil.es/cica/cica9603/disk2/disc … eo/00_index.htm
I couldn't figure out how to attach more then one file so I merged everything into one photo.

The card can't be broken? It seams to work fine except for that I can't install drivers.
