I have this capture card. It works great when capturing resolutions up to 1280x1024. 1680x1050, 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 also work perfectly... hovewer I am having troubles to use 1600x1200. Everything at 60 Hz.

I believe EDID is the main problem. There is an utility to set custom EDID which is ok for 1920x1080 for example and that works as expected. When I set 1600x1200 it is there to some extent - for example when running DVI connection, the BIOS screen is scaled to 1600x1200. Once Windows XP loads, this resolution is missing in the list.... the best I can get is 1680x1050. Weird thing is when I set EDID to 1920x1200 (which works), 1600x1200 is still missing, although I would expect it to be there.

Anyway, HW wise the E1s is perfectly capable of running 1600x1200, because when I run some game that sets resolution directly (regardles of Windows available resolutions list) - like Call of Duty, 1600x1200 is selected and working. At the moment I have GeForce 6600 as the video source.

Anyone has an idea how to make it work? I suppose I can use 1280x1024 if everything fails, but if possible 1600x1200 would be better for my captures.
