Hello there!

I am about to add a MSI GeForce 6600 GT to my Windows XP based system. It is a PC I built back in the day around Atlhon XP 2500+ cpu.
Which would you say it is the best driver for that video card, just the latest available or any specific older one?
I am not concerned about compatibility with Windows 98 era games, since I already have a system for that purpose.

Thank you in advance!

I used Forceware 81.98 on my overclocked 6800GT. It was the fastest driver version for that card. Most likely the same is for the 6600GT.

I've had good luck with ForceWare 93.71 and 175.19 (former is probably better for older games, latter for newer). Note sure how these compare performance-wise with each other, or with ForceWare 81.98, but compatibility and stability should be solid.
