I am trying to decide if I need to keep my Voodoo 5500 card or not. I have two complete Voodoo 2 SLI setups (Diamond and STB) as well as a third spare STB card and wondering if there were any 3dfx games released which won't run well on Voodoo 2 SLI hardware. I use other video cards to play non-3dfx games so I don't need any overlap. I know the general consensus is I should just keep it, but if I'll never have a need to use it, it's just kind of a waste to sit around.

Clive Barkers Undying came out in 2001, I run it on v5, and while it runs well, I think the v5 only barely gets there. Running with 2x AA at 1024x768. I have not tried, but I doubt it would run well at all on a v2.

And technically every Glide game NEEDS a v5 if you want to run with AA, which you should.

Voodoo4 does 2x AA.

Need? No.

Unless you want to run that old novelty blurry Q3test and maybe play the one or two games that used FXT textures (which doesn't necessarily mean they're enhanced by them...)
