I am trying to source a good SVGA card for later DOS games and maybe general Win 3.1 use.

I was reading this article (SVGA and VESA Video Cards) (old I know) and they mentions that the Matrox Millennium II is a worthy contender for DOS, but looking at the driver page here (http://vogonsdrivers.com/index.php?catid=23) I can't see a DOS driver, they all seem to be Windows, Do you think the Matrox Millennium II is a suitable card for later DOS games?

Here's a quick compatibility chart you can check -

Overall the Millennium II isnt looking that great, but it really depends on what you play.

Check out DOSBox Distro:

a lightweight Linux distro (tinycore) which boots off a usb flash drive and goes straight to DOSBox.
