Ok so I've got a pair of FX3450 Quadro cards, they are really just Geforce 6800GS cards, so I opened the bios and changed the device ID to match 6800GS, which works fine or so it looks, each card by itself say's its a 6800GS to the system, but if both are inserted one insists on indentifiying itself as a Quadro FX3450/3500 series card, which means no SLI. I've tested by putting a test boot screen that just says 6800GS MOD which loads on both. What am i missing here, I really don't want to pay the premimum for 6800 series cards even on PCIe these days, but the FX3450 is dirt cheap, i got both for under 20 bucks, and while yes I know i can use them in single card mode, i really wanted SLI again, and i think my Athlon 64 3700 939 rig is perfect for it
