Hello everyone,

I was testing some of my graphics cards and one of them, a 3dfx Voodoo Banshee AGP seemed to work fine until I installed the drivers. I simply get a black screen when it tries to boot into Win 98SE.
It displays the BIOS, DOS Prompt, and Boot logos fine, as well as the desktop in 16 color mode when using the default Win 98Se VGA driver.

I tried Raziel64' s Evolution Driver as well as the latest reference drivers version 1.04.00, both with the same result. The only difference is that the reference driver booted into windows in 16 color mode. But when trying to change the resolution to 1024x768 at 256 colors, it refused to boot just the same.

The card looks to be in excellent shape, no damage as far as I can tell. I don't know the manufacturer but on the back it says: ART-3DFX-BS/S16M as well as A3DBSB2K-16M. It has a small fan on the heatsink.

Anyone have any ideas about what's going on?
