ther doesn't seem a way to get this running on an xp machine and an sb16 pci card. Even virtual pc or dosbox doesn't work. Is there anybody who has managed to install and play this game? How?
Won't happen until DOSBox's DPMI support gets better. MAY work in the current CVS version, but I couldn't count on it, Psychic Detective is INSANE when it comes to that stuff. (HAD to run in PURE DOS, etc etc.)

Ditto. Might try and find mine to run with the latest Beta, but you're right about DPMI titles.
I had the same problem. Did you get to the part where the game asks for CD 1 and then says Movie Loading? The game hangs at the EOA screen. This is in DOSBox.
Perhaps emulating the Playstation version is an option?

If it makes you feel better, I've played this game and it's pretty horrible...
to run this game it is simple , you run it with DOSBOX but in the installation DO NOT CHOOSE SOUNDBLASTER, the game crashes and have problems with it, choose Gravis Ultrasound instead and the game plays fine.
@Hammer don't agree with you this game is nice.
