Quick question, and I might've posted in the wrong area, but on a Sound Blaster Vibra 16xv PnP ISA sound card, there is a pinout labeled MB_PRO.

Out of curiosity, what is that for? Adding front end audio jacks on the front end of a computer in case the audio cables are too short for the back?

Found a pin-out diagram on Creative Labs web site: http://support.creative.com/kb/ShowArticle.aspx?sid=3026
Would be great to have front-end audio on the sound card since my audio cables are somewhat too short.

It's a diagnostic type header for Creative technicians. They would just plug in a header that connected all their gear. So you will find things like L and R out on these pins amongst other ones.

Ah. Good to know. At first, it looked like a connection for front-end audio that motherboards and cases have nowadays.
