You mean, a game that started with DOS version, followed by (or released simultaneously) a Windows version?

If so, I own both versions of:
SimCity (classic)

Only have the DOS version:
Civilization
Colonization

• Zork Nemesis: DOS and Win95 version on the same disc
• Wizardry 7 & Wizardry Gold: DOS came first, and then Gold which was the windows version came later
• Doom & Doom95: DOS came first, Bill Gates himself donned a trench coat and shotgun to announce the 95 version.

Wing Commander Kilrathi Saga (Win95 ports of WC1 and 2, not sure about the 3rd game)
X-Wing: Collector Series
Maybe Monkey Island Madness (I remember trying this release and it was Windows versions of MI and MI2, but Mobygames says it's DOS).

Have Wizardry Gold as part of The Ultimate RPG Archives but never get a chance to play it. 😅

Red alert had a windows version with terrible fmv.

Kings quest 6 had a windows 3 version I believe, I think it was only in windowed mode.

I think he just means that the heavy interlacing of the FMVs in the Windows version of the game makes them look terrible.

Personally, I agree and greatly prefer the way they look in DOS.

While we are talking C&C should be mentioned the released C&C Gold aka C&C95 as a separate product.

Yup I was referring to the interlacing. I never really understood why it was like that, I like to see my pixels, it makes me happy.

The Windows port's more directly of the SEGA CD version. The DOS EWJ games are more describable as VGA remakes.
