I've just managed to obtain this version of UFO Defense, and was really really pleased with myself. I thought I'd finally be able to play UFO at proper speed.
Unfortunately, It doesn't seem to work. It runs, but... well... here's a screenshot.
Has anyone managed to get this to work?

Hey, POD does that too! (At least in the menu - one of the many versions of POD does, anyhow...) Needs looking into. Appears to be Video/Timing/resolution issue.

Also, from the readme...
Finally found that this was
fixable by turning off DDraw acceleration, but... that's a hack imho.
So turning off DirectDraw acceleration may be a fix for other games that have this prob.
