I am running Windows 10 and I recently installed Half-Life WON from an ISO I have had for a long time. I updated to 1.1.1.1.0 and I put the MP3 files into media (they are correctly tagged) but no matter what I still get no music and I am baffled as i have been able to before.

Darn, was hoping I could something from somebody. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it a few times. Weird part is this exact setup worked a few weeks ago ona prior Windows instal.

GOTY still has WON, fyi.
The non-Steam version of Half-Life will only play the CD redbook audio with the Half-Life CD inserted in your computer. It will not play MP3s for background audio out of the box, only the later Steam version does so.

I actually got it to work. Patch 1.1.1.0 enables MP3 playback. My issue was the MP3 have to be just right for it to work
