Running VMWare Virtual Machine 11, with a Windows 98SE as the operating system (guest operating system) on Windows 8.1 64. The Space Bar works perfectly, except when dialog plays, it stutters, repeats a part of the audio and then doesn't finish the entire audio sample. This makes it impossible to listen to the game's dialog, and thus probably impossible to finish the game. Is there any solution available of any kind?

I'm using CPUGrabber within the VM to slow the VM's CPU, but the sound stuttering continues even when this software is off.

Having some audio/video app opened in the background removes stuttering sound in VMWare.
For example VLC media player, coolsoft virtualmidisynth, munt, windows media player, chrome browser, etc.
It doesn't matter if it is opened inside of outside VMWare.
