3D analyzer:
The 3D Analyzer Tool was created and refined to overcome limitations
posed by modern 3D Games and other Applications on several current
mainstream 3D Cards.
Basic functionality will equip non-T&L cards with a software substitute.
Anybody ever hear of this?
Yeah I tried it in the past. Basically it allows you to disable calls for various TnL effects to attempt to get games working on a Voodoo card. I managed to get Rallisport Challenge and Colin McRae Rally 3 to run on my old Voodoo5 5500 AGP but they were crash-happy and missing LOTS of graphics (like most of the graphics!).
Nice concept though, however emulating TnL properly would make games horrendously slow!

Uh, That doesn't sound too good. What OS, and DirectX version are you using? Do you think this may have something to do with it?
Like I say it was a long while ago. I was running Win98 original edition (heavily patched but not Second Edition) with a Voodoo5 5500 AGP.
3DAnalyzer might have been improved greatly since then. Give it a go if you want!
