This card:

The ones from creative (SBPCI_WebDrvsV5_12_01) just tell me that I don't have a creative card in my system. Tried pretty much all the hits that google has given me, aside from driverguide, since you need to pay now. I can get it to install on millenium but it won't install the midi synth.

If I'm completely out of luck, is there anything I can play midi with on dos, that isn't command-line driven, something with a gui?

It wants a3d.dll from the sb pci64 driver disk. Which I could get (the dll that is) but then it will want another file, and another, and another...

The only ES1370 drivers i've seen date to July 1997 and only are for Win3.1 and Win95. All those Creative drivers apply to the ES1371-ES1373 (which is a pretty different chip that does AC97 complaince among other things)

You can try this also, https://www.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php … 48db2fbf9bad180 . Actually , i have some similar Ensoniq sound card too. l'm using this web for searching vintage hardware most of the time and most of the drivers are working too. 😀

That might be an Ensoniq AudioPCI. You can use Ensoniq drivers. There is also a Creative driver package for it that renames it to SBPCI 64 and adds some features.

Massive thanks to Macrofeet for trying this driver for the CT4700. I've also been searching high and low for hours for drivers that would work on this card! Works perfectly in Windows 98SE!
