Hi Peixoto, thank you for fix the Resident Evil 1 cutscene, but the game crashes with new update. The game crashes when is running a cutscen, more or less 5 seconds from the beginning.

Hello, your patch works great in fullscreen, however I can't seem to run the game properly in windowed mode. The problem is, I'm trying to play Resident Evil 2 SourceNext version. However, the inventory lags like crazy in fullscreen mode, and works fine in windowed mode, even without your patch. When I press the key to change the game to windowed mode (F8), it stretches the game like crazy to where I can't see much of anything. But again, the inventory stops lagging when in windowed mode. Is there any way I can run RE2 SourceNext in windowed mode while still using your patch?

Try adding one of these two lines on the Resident Evil 2 -Sourcenext.ini file:

NEFS=True or
DMWM=True

and tell me if it works. It may cause FMVs to stop working, if it does, don't despair: this bug can probably be fixed

Yo, thanks for the solutions. NEFS successfully stops the inventory from lagging, however it breaks the FMVs like you said, and also breaks the save screen to where it doesn't display the save data; can still operate it, but it's just blank. DMWM gives with the Direct X error when starting up the game. Any way I can get the FMVs working again?

OK then, sorry but I will just make the FMV scale thing optional. While not impossible, its hard to fix bugs i can't reproduce

Hello, I had seen on PCWikiGaming that I could play Tomb Raider Last Revelation and Chronicles in 2160p with this patch, but it's not working. The game works well in 1080p, but it crashes in 2160p. Is it possible to play TRC in 2160p? It's a problem with my computer? Thanks

Try to run setup (hold shift), make sure the game is set to fullscreen, try different settings on the patch. If nothing helps try to create a trace file with API trace. There are a few post from myself in this topic explaining how to do so

Download the new version and leave the FMV scale at 1. The patch will behave as it did before that option was added. Small FMVs, but no crashes

I have a new game request. 😀 Please take a look at "Time Commando" windows CD version (directx) whenever you have some free time. That game can benefit from xbox controller support, custom installer for 64bit systems and unblurried upscaling (no anti-aliasing). The game also has some color pallete problems on new OSs. "Time Commando" was made by the same team that made the Little Big Adventure series.

Awesome. The newest patch worked. Is there any way you can patch in a skip function for the cutscenes of RE2 Sourcenext? I know there's a mod for that, but I can't seem to get it to work.

I'm having another issue in Resident Evil 2 SourceNext where some FMVs don't play, and the game goes completely mute after skipping them. (you can skip FMVs but not in game cutscenes).

I really love these patches man! You're the best! I only have one question: Is it possible to set a preferred resolution in a games .ini in the Scripts folder? I can't play any games in my monitors native resolution without lag and constantly resizing the desktop resolution is annoying.

I tried adding
Height=800
Width=600
to onimusha's .ini file but it didn't seem to work. In fact it seemed to play worse than setting my desktop resolution to 800x600.

So is there an alternative? If not it's kool. I'm happy just be playing these games again.
