Not too common anymore round here as most have been gutted for there running gear and engine conversions on other 6K VAG cars...
Has had a few upgrades, despite looking stock. Pushing around 190hp at the moment, but i have a software update due which will up it to around the 220hp mark hopefully.

Cars are my other hobby (for far longer than old computers) - so i have a few other projects... The main one being this atm

I drive a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue GX, 3.5L LX5 V6 engine (South Star V6, sister of the Cadillac North Star V8), regular gas, FWD DOHC. It's got over 115,500 miles on it, fully functional A/C, and needs some help here and there (ABS is faulty, the front suspension needs to be replaced, and my fuel system is erratic at times (fuel gauge isn't accurate) due to a blockage in the vent valve), but, it still drives nicely.

For the summer, a 1999 Daewoo Matiz, lowered with ICE (as well as the other ICE -15 speaker setup), my weekend car is a 1987 Hyundai Pony with a 4G63 and a lot of body modifications, my winter car is a 2002 Accent, and I occasionally use a 2002 Protege when my wife isn't using it.

Damn you guys are lucky! The cheapest used GT-R I could find here was a -09 for 80.000€ ($90.000)! Last years model with 15.000 miles on it would cost an eye watering $177.000. 😵

My sensible family car is a battered 13-year old Renault Megane Grand Tour (=station) running LPG. Not going to get anyone's adrenaline going (except when it develops another electrical fault and I get stressed when using the right indicator disables cruise control and starts the rear windscreen wiper going...) but it's roomy enough, comfortable and economical to a fault. Plus I buy relatively old bangers and expect them to last maybe 3 years. This one's doing 4.5 and still going strong.

But that's boring so whenever I don't need to lug around children and/or old hardware I ride this:

1973 Ford Escort (wide arched RS2000 replica with Sierra Cosworth motor) ~ 2.0 16v 4cyl turbo with ~320bhp
1993 Porsche 911 Turbo ~ 3.3 6cyl turbo with >360bhp
2010 Alfa Mito Cloverleaf ~ 1.4 4cyl turbo with 170bhp

The Escort has been a long time restoration project, just finished earlier this year, and the 911 is my dream 'Bad Boys' car from the 90's and now worth around 5 times what I paid for it some 10-12 years ago.

Mito is the practical runaround (though still a bit nippy), although I need something bigger now with two little ones to also ferry around.

I love how the VR6 sounds once you open up the exhaust.

nice subtle drop you got there. What suspension do you have on there?

I wish no 😀 Long Range RWD. Still super damn fast. I have for a month now and the instant acceleration is fantastic. Also it took a while to get use to "one pedal driving" but it feels good now. I almost got into an accident when I drove a gas car because when I raised the foot of the acceleration pedal the car did not stop 😀

Yeah, I should have stated that the pic is also not my car. 😵
I was too lazy to try and find a pic of my car. Mine is still at stock height unfortunately, although here in winter that extra height has saved me quite a few times when we get those crazy storms that drop 30+cm of snow in a day.

I had bought it as a winter beater originally since the BMW 135i I had at the time was undrivable in snow, and quite frankly, even modded as it was and as fast as it was, I honestly preferred driving the Jetta all year round.

nice TE37s! I used to have an 8MR. Still miss it every day. How are you liking the cobb? are you using an OTS tune or was it custom dyno tuned? I'm still trying to decide cobb or ecutek.
