It works perfect under DOSBox 0.63 - Did you run setup.exe?

Yes, I tried most of the settings there.. When I tick the internal speaker I get the same scratchy sound through my speakers.

I selected Sound Blaster to get music + sound effects.

You will need to fiddle with the config file. First, read the README about configuration in general, then play with the "core", "cycles", "output" and "blocksize" options (in that order). One of these could be the problem.

Ooops! Forgot to mention that I changed default SB IRQ from 7 to 5 inside dosbox.conf - You should also try that.

I can't seem to get this working, i've tweaked and tweaked, but I still have scratchy sound.. The game runs fine, but even when I choose NO SOUND in the setup in the game, I still get the scratchy sound!

How many files do you guys have in your 4dboxing folder ? I have 120

I can't. That would be illegal. Besides, it's a bad idea directly posting e-mail addresses in the open. 😳

Try booting the game via the boxe.bat file; it should clear the problems with sound. I noticed that there are several .exe and .bat files with different properties, try them if you like but the aforementioned file works nicely on my system.
