hehe. Zup, I got it!
I found SimCGA while going through some old demos yesterday.
KQ4 doesn't support Hercules so I thought I'd see if it worked in DosBox.
Unfortunately when you run SimCGA in DosBox it makes you unable to see the CLI so you have to blindly type in paths and executables. (I just navigated to the game directory before executing SimCGA and the game name).

🤣 SimCGA was my best friend for a year after my EGA monitor blew out around 1990 and I was stuck with an amber (orange) hercules setup on my 286.
