When I try to download exe files the download box pops up, and just hangs, no progress, no transfer rate, nothing. Zip files and other files dl fine, no luck trying to save the exe file as some other extension. Is there a zipped version of DosBox floating around I could DL? Otherwise I'm not sure what to do.
What browser are you using? What page(s) gave you the error?

I'm using IE 7. Every page, it's any .exe I try to download. I've just re-formatted and installed XP, so it's not that, I've systematically tried every internet security option available. I have no idea what to do. A zip file with the exe in it would most likely work.
Yeah, you don't think I've tried? I can't download executables.
use off by one browser its a zip file
wouldnt recomend it for everyday use but it will do for a few downloads
