Hi I recently downloaded Test Drive III. As it needs a floppy, and i don't have one, im using DOSBox with the game, but the Sound is UGLY! I've tryed everything related to frameskip and cpu cycles but no solution. I've also modified sblaster as False, Tandy as False, Disney as False and PC Speaker as True in DOSBox.conf but my Speakers still emulating the sound, not the PC Speaker as i wanted. If anybody knows how can i get good sound with my speakers or ps speaker please help me!!!

Thanks!

NOTE: THE GAME DOESN?T WORK WITH VDMSOUND

I don't think DOSBox will use your real speaker, unless you somehow manage to convince Windows(?) that the PC-speaker is your default sound device.

(high-frequency reloading); fixes Test Drive/Grand Prix Cycles
and similar

The pc speaker sounds are slightly off. I played jazz 1 on dosbox on the 500 mhz computer and for fun tried it on a 100 mhz computer with windows 95 and the program running on windows mode with pc speaker sounds and it sounds a bit different.

I personally prefer the dosbox pc speaker. You should use it on doom 1.
You can download a shareware version of the game. It sounds great with pc speaker.
