...I crash into one of these red/white striped poles. Strangely, the addon pack, Carmageddon Splat Pack works fine. I have done a lot of testing (various option changing, removing VDMS, resolution, graphic card options) and it does seem that Glidos is indeed the problem. I love Glidos, it's truly a great little app. I'm on the fence about buying it now, but if you can fix this, or give me a work around I'll be your next customer!

Specs: 3.6GHz P4, 2GB RAM, ATi X600, EMU-1820m sound card

It may be Glidos, but I've never been completely convinced. It could be a bug in the 3dfx version of Carmageddon. I have no reports from anyone having it working correctly using a 3dfx graphics card.

I'm hoping that I can find out more of what is going on when I get it to run under VDos32 because then I'll be able to run it under a debugger.
