i got the capture folder present. it says captures=capture under [dosbox] in dosbox.conf.

i don't know how i did it, cuz i can't understand the keymapper program, but i somehow remapped the wave-function to the shift-key an managed to record some clips(and it did work)...but not anymore.

also, if i hold or press the shift key to many times, i get interrupted by windows, suggesting me to activate slow keys. how do i disable that?

using dosbox 0.72

The shift-key issue: open the Control Panel and select Accessibility Options, and on the Keyboard tab, uncheck all three check boxes (StickyKeys, FilterKeys, and ToggleKeys).

tnx for respons, but i still can't get it to capture...none of the control requesting the crtl+F* or crtl+alt+F*, but alt+enter and alt+pause works fine...

tried to remap the keys to mod 2, so that i should be using alt instead of control, but still nothing...
how can i map the mod3-key? why can't i capture video or audio?
