Nope, i don't have any of those, but i believe it should at least work without any problem on the i3 2120.

I also have a Celeron G1840 Haswell based system, i should try on that tomorrow.

.

The 7950 Gx2 is an older SLI video card. The one I had a few years ago worked fine on an intel x58 system, but then again that system's designed to run SLI (or crossfire for that matter). It depends on your system.. you should probably open a thread about it and I can try to help you there better. We're sorta running off topic on this one.. PM me a link if you do start one and I'll try my best to help. Can't promise anything, but it very well may be not compatible with your system, yet actually be an OK card, possibly.

The TNT2 M64 is a great card for the right games.

If you're looking at Quake 2, Expendable and Unreal, you will likely be disappointed.

But older games should run great on it. It has excellent compatibility with older games, for example Incoming is broken with anything newer than a TNT2. Forsaken, Shadows of the Empire and other older games should all run great.

Well, this is what I'd want to play on it:

3D:
Beetle Crazy Cup
NFS Porsche 2000
NFS2SE
NFS4
Tank Racer

2D:
Abe's Oddysee
Abe's Exoddus.

Looks like a ET3000 but I might be wrong.

Wow, I can't even access the original listing 😠

Unfortunately, some sellers know how to manipulate the ebay system so that one has no chance of complaining or leaving negative feedback anymore.

Original listing: 39.99 euro. A card that looks a bit like this, though with an heatsink instead. And ET4W32-4 written on it...

I've always wanted a Matrox Millennium I or II. I remember back in the day, they were around $300, which was almost double what I normally spent on graphics cards. Well, today is my lucky day:

Picked this guy up for $25 shipped. Maybe a little high by today's value, but it was advertised as NOS. It certainly looks like it might be, based on its pristine condition. At any rate, I might end up replacing my TNT2 M64 with this in my late DOS PC. Sure, the Millennium II is slightly slower and maybe even less compatible, but it's more period correct and has flawless color, brightness and clarity.

The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

They have plenty of cards on sale with good feedback so maybe someone just mixed things up.

So, now I finally got the card I read about twenty years ago, Orchid Righteous 3D Voodoo.

I haven't yet received this item yet, but I'm all ears if anyone knows what it is.

As far as I can tell, it is some kind of 8-bit audio card made by Covox. It doesn't look like the Voice Master card or the Voice Master Key card shown on Great Hierophant's blog: http://nerdlypleasures.blogspot.com/2014/09/t … nd-devices.html

If you look closely at the photo, you can see the Covox logo in the upper-left hand corner. Almost completely hidden under the round orange capacitor is a date. It looks like "1987" to me.

Here's the original eBay listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/391604326631?_trksid=p2057872

I made an offer, and the seller accepted it, so I didn't pay the asking price.

Voodoo 1 of course. Isn't that obvious, their Voodoo 2 was called Orchid Righteous 3D II 😀

Bought it, not yet arrived.

2 bucks, local pickup 😀

I am a bit worried about the "chipped off", brown contacts. One on each side.
Do you guys think this memory is broken? It is tested and working according to the seller:

It's pin 18 and 124 which are 2 of 17 VCC pins, so it might just work fine.

Do you think these are scraped off pins because of improper installation?
Maybe someone mistook it for RDRAM? 😵

Are they scraped off.. or *burned* off? I think it might have been shoved into something.. wrong, and burned off some contacts.

I agree with the other guys, I wouldnt trust it in a rare board for sure.

Hard to say, but it wouldn't fit very well. 😜
