Purchased SQ collection series.
Wanted to finish and replay SQ3 too. 😀
8GB 4x 2GB micron with timing 9 and 10.
One slot 7800 GTX 256MB using the cooler to convert one of my 7900 512 to one slot for cramped Dell.
Cheers,

Have you been watching the Su-27 videos on Youtube as well? 😁

This one would have real trouble selling in Russia since in Russian "trax" means "sex act". It is quite rude, but not taboo.
It has a very nice, retro, race-style look though, I really like that!
I'm probably going to get laughed at for this one but it was so wonderfully odd that I simply couldn't resist.

I've actually been wanting a Cyrix 6x86/MII box for a few months now to mess around with and this was reasonably priced and amusing. I actually want to set it up for high end DOS gaming, though I imagine the MII doesn't run Quake particularly well.

The case looks pretty good!

Not at all. I cleaned up a 400i3 model, updated the BIOS so it would detect up to 128GB HDDs and it made a great basic Windows 98SE 3D game system. It had an integrated ATI Rage Pro so basic 3D games ran fine like Mechwarrior 2, etc. Eventually sold it off.
Soon to be tested 😀

Was that a Celeron or a Pentium II? And where did you find the BIOS update? This one of course doesn't have a hard drive so I get to hunt down all the drivers on my own.

Nice but be sure to replace the PSU. Every eMachine I messed with had the worst PSU possible (and can kill the mobo). Generally the motherboards are good, just lack some features of the more common similar ones.
Hate posting a reply and have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. 🤣 Second computer a 286 12Mhz with real IDE drive ! After that came 386, 486, Pentium, P.Pro and everything after....

Yeah, this one doesn't have an AGP slot but I mean, DOS games aren't going to take advantage of AGP anyway I don't think. They probably would just see the AGP slot as a PCI slot.

Celeron 400 and it had been upgraded to 256MB RAM. The 4GB HDD in it was dead so after the BIOS update I installed an 80GB HDD. Threw on Win98, found the drivers and off I went. I still have all the drivers and BIOS images for that machine in a folder on my backup drive. I get rid of nothing when it comes to files. I am a proud digital hoarder! 😀
Got the BIOS here (my board was a Florida-TG) >> http://www.elhvb.com/mobokive/Archive/Trigem/bios/index.html
Yours, I believe, is a Florida-C so look in that folder. Obviously verify before flashing. Edit: Now that I look deeper, it might be a Delhi-III, so once again, make sure what you have in there before flashing. Either way, there is a "Delhi3" folder at that link as well.
Another edit: Found this post from 2001 that quotes eMachines' website about your model >> https://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?p … 07530#p18652844
Anyway, good luck to you.
Did they use Award or AMI for the BIOS?

Thanks, this stuff is going to help a lot.

No problem. BTW, if you go to that link and go up a directory you'll see the manuals and drivers folders. Has pretty much everything in there so you can figure out which board you have. Cheers!

Too bad the Presario 850 is probably going to arrive first so I won't be able to do that BIOS update until after that.

The BIOS files and most of the drivers seem to download just fine, but unfortunately the manuals seem to be dead links. You should be able to get through it on your own though.

Nice! Think he's all set for sure.
