I'm trying to run the Sierra Quest for Glory series on DosBox. The issue I'm having is that my keyboard, the Logitech diNovo, does not have a NUMLOCK key. I have a numeric keypad, but the keys across the top are 123 (go to number mode), nav (switches layout to have file manipulating functions), and +/- (puts the thing in calculator mode). Is there a way to force DosBox to remap one of the other keys on the keyboard to be NUMLOCK? The <CTRL>-F1 mapper seems to only let you remap to keys on a standard layout to events that you can generate. My problem is the reverse, I can't generate a NUMLOCK command. thanks

Right, the problem is that I don't have a key labeled NUM. I'd like to hard-assign the NUM event to a key that I do have. If I could generate the NUM event, I could use the regular keymapper, but since I can't generate the event right now, I need help.

thanks,

That's why you're using the mapper, right? Which has a key labeled NUM
which is the whole point of remapping things.
Click on that NUM, click ADD and then hit any key you want to act as the
numlock key. The readme has a section about remapping btw.

Oops, I'll try that tonight. When I looked at it yesterday, it looked like it was adding a bind to event (i.e. cause the NUM key to generate an INS or something), not the reverse. I must have just misunderstood what I was seeing.

thanks!
