I just downloaded DOSStart 1.9b, to use as a program starter. The program looks great, but it's extremely unstable; it barely runs for 30 seconds. I have no idea what causes this problem, and it'd be nice if someone could help me.

He stopped developing DOSStart for about 7 years ago, and the page was last updated in 2004, but I'll give it a shot.

Okay, I've tried it, works great. However, I need to use the megabuild, since I play NFS SE. Any ideas how to fix it?

The regular release give me sound problems in NFS SE, Street Rod 2 is very unstable, and Lotus 3: The Ultimate Challenge won't even start. Plus: the special VESA modes are really interesting, along with the emulated network card.

I fixed both Lotus 3 and dosstart, and it was ridiculously simple: after installing dosbox, I set core=dynamic. I just reset it to 'auto', and it works! Thanks for helping me 😀
