i need help getting great naval battles north atlantic to run on DOSBOX .74
I can play a scenario but not a campaign. When I click the load button for a campaign, it always drops back to DOS with the following error:
initcount = 8
FILE Fail
Can anyone shed some light on this? thanks.
Actually the scenario runs for a couple of minutes then has the exact same error. Thanks.
are you sure you installed the game correctly ?

Well, all the files are in one directory. Its an old DOS 6.x game. And it does run for a couple of minutes on a scenario.
Oh and the game version is 1.0
Make sure you have a subfolder named "SAVE" under the game folder. Without that subfolder, the game errors out when loading a campaign.
