Seems Kick Off 98 doesn't like to detect cd's either.

It is worth noting that KO98 requires installation via win95 or higher, but contains a dos executable.

The game installs fin mounted as a cue/bin image in 0.74 using a standard conf file.

However, launching the game returns a "wrong cd in drive" error along with the following 2 error codes:

Error: CheckDosMemoryList(): Block 0 (Seg: 0x095C) has not been freed
Error: CheckDosMemoryList(): Block 1 (Seg: 0x096D) has not been freed

A patch for the issue may be added to SVN at some point. In the meantime, the attached workaround program should help; perhaps it will be effective for 97 as well.

thank you ripsaw, that does actually fox both games. However there is a strange sound issue in K097. It sounds like the sound is in slow motion.

Basically I have a very slow darth vadar telling me that it is a packed stadium.

It seems to affect both music and voices.... and it seem to get worse the longer the game goes.
