I recently installed DOSBox MB6 on a Windows 7 64-bit computer. I enabled NE2000 networking in the configuration. I have a Novell Netware 3.12 server that I am trying to connect to. To try and connect to the server I am loading: lsl.com, ne2000.com, ipxodi.com and netx.exe. All of these seem to work fine and after netx.exe loads i get a message that I am attached to my Novell server.
My question is what do I do next to login to my server?
On our true dos computers (running MS DOS 6.22) i put a line in my config.sys file that is "lastdrive=f". After loading netx.exe on them I can go to drive G. Type "login" and I'm in business.
In DOSBox after loading netx.exe there is no drive I can go to to login.
Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

There's probably nothing magical about the lastdrive=f line in the config.sys; I can tell you that much.

More likely, on one of your old DOS computers there's probably some other configuration file sitting around associated with netx.exe that you will need to copy for use with your DOSBox experiments. NET.CFG, perhaps?

Mounting drive letters from "inside" is not supported by DOSBox. You would have to boot from a DOS image inside DOSBox.
