Is GOG.com even paying for the DosBox?? I know they bundle it out to customers cause the customers literally need DosBox to run GOG games therefore GOG is using DosBox's services, anybody follow my sense??

and how did they acquire the licenses of the old games anyway?? especially, now defunct companies??

They don't pay for the usage of DOSBox.
While the companies might be defunct, the right in general are not lost. Other compagnies might have bought them or get them as settlement when the companie went defunct.

DOSBox is licensed under the GPL. As long as you follow the GPL you can sell DOSBox.

you can pester GOG for DosBox's source code, if they use modified Dosbox.

Theres one version of dosbox that when you press certain key,
it would pop-out a windows which you can see its a front-end for .conf files,
with that window you can change the settings without editing the .conf file in a text editor.

A better question would be if they are legally allowed to sell the games that they are selling.

It seems one of the pillars of their business is that they are a legitimate source. If it ever emerges that they are not legally selling something, there will be hell to pay, to put it mildly.
