Benjamin James Robert
James and Robert are family names (to keep the Grandparents happy!), and we liked Ben.
Emma had to stay in over night and maybe tonight as well because the birth was difficult, they had to use forceps because his head was in the wrong position. Haven't slept for 2 days and I'm still buzzing!

Congratulations 😉 Although I feel I must relate something a friend of mine realised when thinking of calling their son James Robert (funnily enough, after grandparents as well!) - kids at school are merciless, he may find himself known as Jim-Bob for his formative years... 😉

You're right, you can't put into words the feeling of Love when you hold baby in your arms (except when he's screaming for a feed at 4 in the morning 🤣 )

No circumcisions here Snover, the mere thought makes my eyes water 😅
One thing that I've learnt is that baby monitors put the fear of God into you; you're nice and relaxed and suddenly you get a scream in your ear and jump 10 feet in the air!

Yes it is a bit, sorry about that! 😦 Father in law taking the photo with shaky hands, and I couldn't use the flash because Benjamin was two hours old and rather light sensitive! Messed up the auto focus. There are loads of gizmos that I've yet to work out on the camera, just haven't had time.
