I run it on a 4K TV occasionally (with it zoomed of course). I have no problem with colors or text since I use 4:4:4 chroma output from my graphics card. Also, if you're running a non-RGB colorspace, you're going to get colors that are slightly off since you're compressing the spectrum, say for example going from 16-235 compared to 0-255 (Limited vs. RGB Full). You have to calibrate your TV's PC input accordingly. If you want a TV to look like a PC monitor, make sure it supports a 4:4:4 chroma input.
