I pickup up a resale copy of the Alone in the Dark CD version, and darn if I'm stumped as to how to get this sucker working. All the usual methods like VDMsound and dosbox aren't working; I can get the program up and running but there's no sound or music at all...any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW I'm running XP home.

I've tried that too...it doesn't help one bit (the readme also specifies that "Free in the Dark" has not been tested with the CD version and "may not work.") Which it doesn't. At all.
