Hi,

I get the following error when running a dos game: An error was encountererd while attempting to load and display the Tip of the Day.

Last error reported by Windows:
0x000000b6 - The operating system cannot run %1.

The initalization process will now continue.

When I then hit the OK button the game runs with sound and everything is ok.

How can I get this error go away?

I use Win NT 4.0 Service Pack 6.0a

I think that now all the files are installed in the VDMSound dir (c:\progra~1'\VDMSound\) I have now 30 files in the dir, which includes TipOf Day.dll. But for some reason when I hit the shortcut Tip of the Day nothing happens. I see the harddrive load just for a few seconds and then he stops.
Here is the shortcut's path from Tip of the Day: %SystemRoot%\system32\rundll32.exe TipOfDay.dll, TODShow TipsRunDLL /Software/Freeware/VDMSound

Hopefuly this cleares some things, can now tell someone if I have all the files that are nessary installed and ofcoures, make this Tip of the Day mather get out of this world.
