Hi, I am very new to Linux and I am using Ubuntu 9.04. I am wondering if I can put DOSBox on my USB stick to make it portable. I tried extracting the install file to it and it didn't work, so now I'm out of ideas. Anybody have any suggestions?

Actually I would like to be able to use it straight from the USB drive in Linux, without having to install it first, just plug in the drive and open up the executable. I've done this for the Windows version, but don't know how to do it for a Linux version.

I know I can just easily install it onto the hard drive, but for reasons I won't go into that is not very preferable for me.
