Hmmm, very interesting. Will try swapping protected mode stubs later.
maybe lower your memsize to default 16 mb ?
I ran without dpmi btw.

Qbix, can you explain how have you success in making pyscho pinball running in dosbox 0.60 ? For me it's not working ... after I've launched the game nothing happens immediatly but after 30s I have this error :
INT:Gate DPL<CPL
If I try to disable dpmi in dosbox.conf I have his error :
Unhandled CPU Opcode
Still no luck. Maybe we have different versions?.
Okay running it without dpmi is only possible in the next version of dosbox.
running with dpmi seems to go allright.
Games just starts up and runs.
Pet: maybe a corrupted version somehow ? (I ran at 3000 cycles and 16)

I've found an other version which runs (very very slow) at 1800 cycles. I've tried 3000 cycles but I've the same error like above (INT:Gate DPL<CPL).
An idea ?
How is your sound conifigured ?

Tinkering with stubs i've found out my LE executable is packed with UPX 0.72 but i don't think that should pose a problem. BTW: The game just runs natively, but very very slow.
I've the default setting for the sound :
sblaster=true
base=220
irq=7
dma=1
sbrate=22050
adlib=true
adlibrate=22050
cms=false
cmsrate=22050
🙁 The game runs on Win Xp but at low speed and with dosbox it's worse ...
An idea ?
Who knows, maybe it's how things implement protected mode? I get this same error in trying to run Windows 3.1. Would be interesting to see what might be adjusted to fix it.
You should check which versions of Dos/4GW you have...
You can get other (older) versions of it here:
