Yesterday salvaged HP Vectra VL 6 with P2 233, 8 mb ram, 2xcd-rom and 850 mb hd. Haven't tested it yet but there's a good chance it's gonna work.
8MB RAM? Doesn't sound right, given the rest of the system.

You're absolutely right, I was too tired then 😀 I meant 64 mb....
Got this sound card:
No 64-bit drivers available, unfortunately. Oh well, I'm sure the Pentium 3 wouldn't mind having a fourth sound card.
This arrived today from Japan (its not NitroX Infinity's card). Second known card in existence 😀 I'll provide tests results very soon in my 3D Accelerated Games List thread.

The discs are OEM, so little chance that the retail versions will work, but I'll confirm this in my testing.
The coupon of the three games no user actually received (according to Google Groups and reviews from the time).

Arrrrg you lucky bum! Maybe if you acquire the retail versions much like Nitro-X Infinity did, maybe you can create conversion patches for the fewer-than-five people who might ever want such a thing 🤣

Got it from a friend. Lack of x64 drivers made it useless to him now.

I can certainly provide the files. From what I can see it's only the executable that've changed, but it will ofc require some testing to iron this out with certainty.
So damn lucky that I got it. I didn't even search for the damn thing. It showed up on the bottom of a random auction under the "other auctions you might be interested in" section. I recognized the box immediately and tracked it day and night. I put a bid in immediately so the seller would have a harder time cancelling the auction incase someone would try and "Artex" it 🤣.
According to the box, Tasmania 3D was made in a VLB version too. That must be a real blast.

They look cool, but how do they sound? I've looked on-and-off over the years but they're rare down here.

Depends...
You have to admit...it would take a man with exceptional skills to produce "artwork" like that.
Or a woman...,any who, picked up some new games. Ill post some pics later, I got phantasmagoria new in box, British edition, hexan 1 and 2, heretic 1 and 2, NASCAR 3, duke nukem3D, shadow warrior, neutered edition. :p
Doom isn't just a game, it's an apocalypse survival simulator.

Are the drivers on VOGONSDrivers? If not, you know what to do! 😜

WOW 😁 Can't believe my eyes 😉 I wonder how many of those were actually produced, and in whose hands Nitrox's card is gonna end up 😀

NitroX Infinity have uploaded the drivers on Vogons Drivers earlier. I plan on scanning the manual and uploading it. The manual is needed incase anyone gets the bare card. It uses a 15pin to 9pin loop back cable, its not the standard cable as on a Voodoo or MPEG accelerator card. The manual provides the pin-out of the cable so it's possible to make one yourself.
I'll also provide the executables for the bundled games so incase someone finds a card they will be able to test it.

Heh, is that a hint that its going to end up in your hands? 😉
I think quite some were produced, but it was useless after quite a short time and thus many did not save them. During autumn of 96 the card was discontinued and the remaining inventory sold for 40 dollars for one card. Reading Usenet posts from back then people didn't think it was worth it even at that price. No Direct3D drivers, only two supported games, no support. I guess it is the same that happened with the 3D Blaster VLB which is also very rare nowadays. The Diamond Edge 3D had more capabilities and could possibility to be used a backup video and soundcard thus being more useful and more cards are available today.
According to the box, Tasmania 3D was made in a VLB version too. That must be a real blast.
The VLB version was also announced in the press releases, but there is no evidence that it was anything but vaporware.
What if it was done by a woman?
Then I would eat it.. umm never mind we won't get into that 😊
Actually it looks a little too yellow. Makes me wonder if they used colorant or something
