Hi guys. I have a Voodoo 3 3500TV and I'm sick of using the big cumbersome dongle it comes with.

Can you point me to some adapter from the voodo's DVI like connector to a simple 15 pin D-SUB?

Try searching this on Ebay. It's an 3500 model without tv-in.
The price should be 13 us dollars without shipping.

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
Those cakes make you sick....

thanks for the tip - frankly I was hoping for a pin-out or something - I can't buy another card right now. Besides, shipping alone is twice the value of the card...

I did some searching, and this has been asked before: Voodoo3 3500TV, connect to monitor?

It appears adapters *may* exist (VESA Plug'n'Display Analog to VGA from the looks of it), but that may cost more than the non-TV card as well. Anandtech also seems to say it's a Plug'n'Display Analog connection here: http://www.anandtech.com/show/351/3

According to wikipedia, Plug'n'Display is similar to EVC (http://www.interfacebus.com/Design_EVC_Connector_Pinout.html) except that on Plug'n'Display "the pins assigned for carrying analogue audio and video in signals are reused to carry digital video signals."

Oh that's great, just what I was looking for! I found the EVC connector the V3TV uses at a local electronic components shop, will order two male connectors and two female d-sub connectors. I should be able to put together two short cheap cables. The only thing I was missing is the pinout.
