Kudos for OC (4,8GHz is awesome with Haswell)... but still not enough to beat my new score 😉

Want to try again ?

PS. I'm no expert in Haswell... but isn't 1,4V+ kinda much for 22nm Intel transistors ?
(I heard they tend to run quite hot after 1,35V).

As the results may depend on 7zip version, so you need to write it near the results.
Besides multi-thread, single-thread bench would be good to place here too.

@ tertz All the tests are done on 9.20 (as requested by clueless1) not sure about the single/multi thread (where this can be setup)
@ agent_x007 - your cpu is mad 😀 - mine dosn't want to go at 5 GHz no matter what vcore I am pushing (and yes 1.4 is too much /definitely not for 24/7 .. if I run it at 4.6 runnes fine with Vcore 1.285-1.289 V:) - but if I am pushing more after that he wants more anyway - good score and good cpu a true beast 😀

That's why I didn't bought Ivy/Haswell/Broadwell so far.
They just can't make the frequencies that legendary Sandy Bridge can 😀
True - they are all faster clock vs. clock than it, BUT they just can't scale with frequency that well.

Performance = IPC x Frequency, and to me Sandy Bridge is (for now) the best IPC x Frequency combo (Skylake/Kabylake may be better, but first intel has to get the hang of making 14nm transistors).
Also, Quad Channel can help out in this test 😉

PS. All my scores are from 9.20 64-bit edition and done on Air cooling 😜

Thanks, swaaye. Added to the sheet. Nestled in quite nicely between the C2D E6300 and Pentium D 945.

Nice result on the overclocked Q6600, tyuper.

Can anyone beat the P3-933 for lowest score? 😉

What's a Celeron III? 😀 The cache size makes me guess it's an underclocked Tualatin Celeron? I put it in the database, but you can go in and correct the description if you like.

Donating my two systems to your database. Maybe a 3rd in a bit.. could do my file server but it has so much crap running that it'd be inaccurate. Might just try it anyway.

Anyway, system #1, then I'll post again for my newer system in a bit.

If you could please sort these into your list for me that would be nice. I'm half sick and don't have the brain power to do it right.

EDIT: Second system.

I have a 4-way Pentium-III Xeon Server I can try to run this on later tonight after food. About to go eat now.

I don't even remember if I have hard drives / OS in it or not. I'll see about powering it on and see what it can do in a little while. That might be an interesting thing to add to your database. Quad-Core Pentium-III 😁

Thank you, sir. Results added. Yeah, a quad core P3 would be sweet. 😀

I have it and it's running but no OS on it at the moment. Not sure if I want to bother going through that tonight, I'll think on it.. not feeling well. Maybe later next month.

Here is the result of 8-core Sandy Bridge-EP Xeon. Not fast enough for the first place, but still respectable performance. 😀
