So, I have this simple BX board that doesn't have a monitoring chip or voltage control. If I put in a coppermine CPU it is detected as a Pentium III. The correct Mhz is also shown except for 1000Mhz which is shown as :00 (maybe it can't display 4 digits). The system works fine but i'm am wondering what kind of voltage it is getting. My coppermine CPUs work at 2.0v but I would rather not run them like that for long.

I don't have any experience measuring voltage from a VRM but maybe you guys can help me.

Here is a picture of the CPU area:

Thank you very much. I used a molex for ground.

Deschutes 300Mhz: 1.94v
Coppermine 733Mhz: 1.61v
Coppermine 1000Mhz: 1.66v

It is under-volting some but so does the testing PSU. Main thing is they are stable and running cool 😀

If they work without any mod to the board, their voltage must have been sensed through the VID pins and set up accordingly. The Coppermines require 1.50V to 1.75V depending on a model.
