I have found a Trident 8900CL 1MB 16-bit ISA card (PTI-223CL) which has a strange problem.
All of its eight DRAM chips are fine and have been tested. Anyway to fix it? 😕

Note: If I run it with 512/256KB of VRAM, I get only white screen.

Looks like one of the lower address lines is not functioning on VRAM side of things.

Tiido is probably right. Photos of the card? Did you check solder joints?

Could just be a broken ISA slot, or perhaps a dirty/damaged contact on the ISA connector?
Try inspecting and cleaning the contacts on the card, and see what the card does in other ISA slots?

With a broken ISA slot side of things the video BIOS would be unreadable and the machine would beep with no video card error since BIOS checksum cannot be verified.
