Hey there, I have a computer which I suspect might have a bad fuse on it.

It seems like a very decent unit, but I am unsure if I should get a USB hub installed in it to see if i can get it past the POST screen or what I should do.

there was a previous topic in here at p5i430tx titanium ib+ - No Keyboard Present which I might have a similar issue, but I am wondering if i go the fuse replacement route which type of wheat seed fuse I should use.

EDIT : I just tried the USB hub, it doesn't recognize a keyboard. And the LEDs on the PS/2 keyboard light up for a second but don't respond, there isn't a keyboard error either just a CMOS Checksum Error which isn't related.

Do you have a multimeter ? It takes one minute to check if the fuse is bad (using continuity or resistance mode). The fuse should be the green thing below the KB connector, like in the thread you mentioned.

I couldn't find a fuse, unless I am missing something.

I attached a photo of the keyboard port area on the board.

EDIT : I did read in the other post the fuse is labeled as F1 I might have found it.
