Hi all,

I have a p5i430tx titanium ib+ which will not detect the keyboard. I'm using a DIN > PS2 Adapter since I don't own such keyboard anymore. The board boots each time without fail but will not see the keyboard.

I've tried various PS2 keyboards and the connector in various positions within the connector. Nothing...

Anything I can do before condemning it? 🙁 It looks like a great Socket 7 Motherboard to use my PR150 in.

Do the keyboard leds light up?
I guess you could use a USB keyboard, at least within Windows.

Not on boot if left plugged in during the post. If I take the keyboard out and plug it back in, then I see 3 green lights briefly but still no life.

Would I be able to enter the bios/get past the post errors via a USB card -> Keyboard?!

Replace the keyboard fuse or just short-circuit it. It should be a "fat resistor thingy" placed near the connector. It usually is labeled as "FS", "F01", or something that has "F" inside it. 😉

Been there done that:
